International singer and performance artist, Kerri Layton has had a successful career to date touring Europes 5 star ski and beach resorts, jazz clubs and recording with independent artists and working with some of the UK’s top end jazz musicians.
Playing Glastonbury festival twice, taking on residencies across London, playing Hackney Empire, Stage 3 Bar, headlining Alexandra Palace, singing for Bollinger Champagne, touring in France and Switzerland, playing 5 star beach and pool parties in Ibiza and signing to Champions amongst other agencies , she now shares the same rosta as Lady Gaga, Bob Dylan, Ian Browne, Jessie J, Katy Perry and many more.
Having recently launched her own label ‘Dixiebird Records’ which houses some of her other musical creations and live shows such as ‘Shoop Shack’ a live jazz dining experience and ‘Gold Frankincense and Purr’ Miss Kerri Layton’s next original project 'Jazz: Afterlife' is due for release in 2019.
Hailing from the North West, (UK), Kerri successfully established herself on the international entertainment circuit in 2014, with her alter ego ‘Lady Layton’. Her Retro Jazz Music Show earned her a reputation as an ‘enigmatic live performer’ and a ‘stunning live vocalist’ (BBC) before going on to found her live band featuring highly acclaimed jazz artists, training with Jonny Gee and producer Mick Foster at Big band School in the Lake District.
Currently based in London and quoted as ‘taking it by storm - London loves you’ (Cabaret of Gods) she recently shared a stage with Andy Mackay of Roxy Music, performing ‘an emotional and ethereal version of Love is the Drug’ (C Powered Ents) before headlining the very same concert to a sold out music hall.
Finalist in the 2018 Peter Whittingham Jazz awards 2018, Kerri Layton has multiple residences in London at restaurants, cocktail and jazz clubs, casinos and is currently planning a house concert tour of the UK in 2019 to promote her original work.
