Launching onto the stages of the UK and Europes cabaret scene in 2012 with her one gal show, Lady Layton, Kerri quickly became a sought-after entertainer on the North West music circuit. Taking her first lead role as vocalist and guitarist in both Banner Theatre's production of ‘The Future Makers’ and the punk rock disco-funk band, Doughnut. Recording 2 EPs's an album and completing 4 tours in the same year, the stage was well and truly set.
Since then, this ‘enigmatic live performer’ (C Powered Ents) and a ‘stunning live vocalist’ (BBC) has become renowned for her cheeky personality and smooth, silky vocals, sharing stages with the likes of Andy Mackay (Roxy Music) and singing for audiences at Alexandra Palace, Hackney Empire, The Savoy as well as growing list of private celebrity clients, hosting residencies across the city of London.
Skillfully fusing folk, blues, soul, and jazz into her performances, ‘ a million dollars at any years prices’ ( The Stage) Kerri’s unique voice and sound has featured on various releases with artists such as Fabio and Dohnut.
In 2018 Kerri was a finalist in the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award, for her original composition and studio recording ‘Lady of The Dead'. Other releases such as ‘Blue Angel’ and ‘Black Star Shine; recorded for Leesta Vall in NYC as part of their Shut-In Sessions, plus TV appearances for National Albanian TV, (ALB TV) and ‘Sunshine Studio’, in California.
Kerri has developed a range of Vintage Hollywood-inspired jazz bands under her label and agency Dixiebird Records and is endorsed by clothing labels such as Collectif Clothing.
